  13. This is the free evaluation edition of SafeHouse.  Although this 
  14. software will not expire and its features are nearly identical to the 
  15. retail version, there are several important differences that you should
  16. be aware of. First, this trial version uses weak 40-bit encryption keys
  17. in order to comply with U.S. export controls for unrestricted Internet
  18. distribution. Second, some popular encryption algorithms have been 
  19. omitted. And finally, only a small subset of passwords are allowed.
  20. When creating volumes or subsequently changing volume passwords, the 
  21. utility wizards for the Shareware version will accept only the following
  22. case-sensitive passwords: safehouse, password, pass, one, two, three, 
  23. four, five, six and seven. The retail version allows you to choose your 
  24. own passwords or passphrases up to 255 characters.

  26. Once you complete your evaluation, we strongly recommend that you 
  27. immediately upgrade to the full-strength retail version of SafeHouse to
  28. ensure that your confidential files remain secure and protected.

  66. 98se, Me, NT, Windows 2000 and XP. DOS and Windows 3.1 are no longer
